Nova'Pro Tennis Series is the latest technology and fiber systems to provide absolute top level performance and the ultimate in 'real' cushioned comfort. In 1998, we added the KramerMade Systems to our tennis series. Former World Champion, Jack Kramer, added his prestigious name to our tennis surfaces with the confidence in the benefits of our playing surfaces bring to the world of tennis.

Nova'Pro Tennis Systems consists of a synthetic turf in-filled with an aggregate sand that acts as a ballast. Our systems alleviate the headaches of delamination and cracking normally associated with hard (concrete or asphalt) courts. Acting as a divorced slip-sheet, Nova'Pro Tennis Systems "free float" above the sub-base, allowing the sub-base to expand or contract at will without having reflective cracks show through the surface. Installed over any sound base, fast dry, clay, concrete, or asphalt. Our systems have been designed to conform to the individuality of players. Each system has been developed keeping the individual players and facilities in mind.

Journal of Sports Sciences, 1987, reported, "Several studies have concluded that tennis surfaces that allow sliding were reported to have lower ground reaction forces than tennis surfaces which do not allow sliding. Cushioning of a tennis court is less important for load reduction than reduction in horizontal friction forces. This suggests that the stiffness of the surface is not as important as the frictional properties for loading of the body locomotor system in tennis."

On a clay or sandfilled synthetic grass courts,  generally classified as a low friction surface, sliding is possible after foot contact, thus, the tennis player places the foot in a way that allows foot to slide.

On a surface such as concrete, the player places the foot in anticipation that he or she will not slide. This has an influence on the body position at the instance of ball contact, the position of the foot on contact (heel, flat, toe), or other variables. The conclusion is clear--surfaces that allow sliding are expected to have about 75% less injuries than not slide surfaces. Nova-Pro Tennis Systems are supported by  the findings above.

Nova'Pro Tennis Systems provide two systems: High Slide (HS) and Low Slide (LS) HS is technically designed in structure of synthetic pile density and height combined with co-efficiency of the type/style of sand-infill system. This binary system provides variables in warranty and use of designated products plus the cushioning qualities. LS is engineered differently with a binary system of lower pile and high density fiber system requiring less sand-infill system customized to the fiber system with qualities typical of hard court play but with added advantages of controlled slide and rotation of player's foot for less pain and injury.

The tennis battlefield can be hard and unforgiving. Body ailments become mounting casualties. Nova'Pro surfaces alleviate the body stress attributed to hard court play through revolutionary design and engineering. Our systems feature high end synthetic fibers with specially graded aggregate sand constructed to exacting specifications making play duplicated from court to court, baseline to baseline. Long, thrilling rallies, uniform ball bounces and speed are only a few of the features of our architecturally and aesthetically pleasing surfaces.

Each of our Cushion Court Systems provide a consistently predictable playing surface. The combination of sand and fibers enhance and accentuate ball action as determined by the shot maker. Turf fibers are locked in place by elastomeric backings  and specially formulated aggregate sand infill is evenly distributed through the fibers to assist in forming the playing surface. The superior construction of the  fiber system play an important part in achieving the outstanding qualities of the successful CushionCourt synthetic systems.
